Established in 2006, The Marching Elite Foundation serves under-resourced communities throughout Maryland, using music and arts as a vehicle to create positive change in the lives of participants and the broader community. Our programs span from elementary school through young adulthood, providing a continuum of opportunity.
Excellence in Every Art Form
Thee Standard of Percussion
Our competitive indoor drumline for youth ages 6–24. Junior and senior lines perform at regional and national events.
Dance Ensembles
Competitive dance team specializing in HBCU majorette, jazz, and ballet. Three levels from grade 4 through adult.
Crimson Blaze Color Guard
Junior and senior competitive color guard teams performing at regional and national competitions.
Brass & Hornline
Maryland's competitive brass and hornline section performing at DCI SoundSport events. Open to youth and adults across all of Maryland.
Mid-Atlantic Sounds
Our non-competitive brass and woodwind ensemble for youth ages 9–19. The perfect starting point for aspiring instrumentalists on their way to the Elite All-Stars.
After-School Program
Located at 1 N. Fulton Ave, Baltimore, MD 21223. Grades 4–8 with academic support, meals, and transportation.
Marching Arts Excellence Workshop
An intensive workshop series designed for aspiring marching arts performers and educators across Maryland. Limited enrollment — register your interest today.
