Earn While You Learn
Elite Youthworks is a paid summer employment program for Baltimore City youth ages 14–21, developed in partnership with the Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Employment and Development. This innovative program combines workforce development with music and arts education, giving young people the opportunity to earn wages while developing professional and artistic skills.
Participants work as junior instructors, program assistants, and arts educators within The Marching Elite Foundation's summer programs, gaining hands-on experience in education, event production, and nonprofit management. They also receive ongoing music and arts instruction, mentorship, and career guidance.
Elite Youthworks is more than a summer job — it's a pathway to careers in education, the arts, and community service. Many alumni have gone on to become full-time instructors, educators, and arts administrators.
