Families from Arlington, Fairfax, Alexandria, and across the DC metro are already driving to Baltimore for TME. The HBCU tradition, national competition circuit, and multi-discipline programs simply don't exist locally — but they do at The Marching Elite Foundation.
What Northern Virginia & DC Doesn't Have — TME Does
Northern Virginia has strong school-based band programs in Fairfax County and Arlington, but these are scholastic ensembles tied to your child's specific high school. They don't offer the HBCU majorette tradition, cross-discipline community, or national competition exposure that TME provides.
George Mason University's Indoor Drumline is collegiate and not youth-focused. DC's Different Drummers Winter Guard is primarily adult. For families in NoVA and DC who want national-level competition, HBCU culture, and a program that grows with their child from age 6 to adult — TME is the only option within driving distance.
Built for Families Who Travel
We designed our schedule so that families from Northern Virginia & DC can fully participate without a daily commute. Weekend rehearsals are the core commitment; virtual lessons fill the gaps.
